CREDIT SAWMILL TRAVERSE
Explore some quiet off-road (mostly paved) park trails in Mississauga. We meet at Riverwood Park, main parking lot (no cost to park) near MacEwan House. We’ll ride along the Burnhamthorpe Road cycling path to Sawmill Creek, and ride on the stone-dust trail south beside the creek. At Mississauga Road, we’ll ride in the bike lane to near the QEW for one of the best-loved road rides in the GTA. We’ll then ride the quiet, little-used Nine Creeks Trail, which follows a utility corridor. At the trail’s end, we’ll turn around and backtrack along the Nine Creeks Trail and Mississauga Road. We’ll cross into the UTM campus and ride the stone-dust trail along the Credit River back to Riverwood Park. 34 Km in total.
